Role Overview
We are looking for a high-energy Business Development Manager / Senior Manager to drive revenue growth by sourcing and closing debt transactions across startups, SMEs, and emerging corporates. The ideal candidate combines strong financial understanding with sales drive and the ability to build credibility with Founders, Promoters, and CXOs.
This role requires hustle, financial fluency, and a strong deal-closing mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Generation:
- Own and achieve monthly revenue targets through successful origination and closure of debt transactions.
Deal Sourcing & Pipeline Building:
- Proactively identify and qualify prospects through direct outreach, referrals, and partner ecosystems.
- Meet 3-4 Founders / Promoters / CFOs daily to pitch capital solutions.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline across priority sectors and geographies.
Consultative Selling:
- Understand business models and funding needs to recommend the right capital structure (working capital, venture debt, term loans, asset-backed financing, etc.).
- Build long-term trust with finance decision-makers through insights and solution-oriented discussions.
- Negotiate engagement terms, close commercials, and execute engagement documentation.
Deal Execution & Coordination:
- Drive deals end-to-end-from evaluation and financial diligence to execution-working closely with internal teams and lenders.
- Maintain urgency and momentum to ensure timely closures.
Candidate Requirements:
- 2-7 years of experience originating debt transactions for emerging and mid-market corporates.
Education background: B.Tech and MBA
- Strong understanding of financial statements and capital structures.
- Hands-on knowledge of debt products including secured/unsecured loans, cash-flow lending, invoice discounting, and revenue-based financing.
- Prior experience engaging with Founders, Promoters, and CFOs.
- Self-starter with strong ownership, discipline, and execution mindset.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and CRM hygiene.
