Job Title: Manager / Senior Manager - Accounts, Finance & Structured Finance (RMBS)

Location: Mumbai (Fort)

Experience: 10-12 Years CTC

Budget: Up to - 30 LPA

Role Summary

The Manager / Senior Manager - Accounts, Finance & Structured Finance will be responsible for managing the end-to-end accounting and financial reporting functions while supporting structured finance and RMBS transaction initiatives. The role will work closely with senior management, auditors, regulators, banks, NBFCs, and housing finance institutions to ensure financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and successful execution of securitization transactions.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial book closure.

- Ensure accurate accounting as per Indian GAAP / Ind AS standards.

- Prepare and review financial statements, schedules, and disclosures.

- Monitor general ledger controls, reconciliations, and journal entries.

2. Regulatory & Statutory Compliance

- Ensure compliance with guidelines issued by Reserve Bank of India o National Housing Bank

- Handle regulatory financial returns, statements, and disclosures.

- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax, and GST regulations.

3. Structured Finance & RMBS Transactions

- Support structuring and execution of RMBS and securitization transactions.

- Coordinate with banks, NBFCs, and housing finance companies for identification of mortgage loan pools.

- Work with rating agencies, legal advisors, and trustees to complete transaction documentation.

- Conduct financial analysis and due diligence of mortgage loan portfolios.

4. Audit & Governance

- Lead and coordinate statutory, internal, tax, and concurrent audits.

- Work with external auditors and internal teams to ensure smooth audit completion.

- Ensure closure of audit observations and corrective actions.

- Support board and audit committee reporting requirements.

5. MIS & Management Reporting

- Prepare and review MIS reports, financial dashboards, and variance analysis.

- Provide financial insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.

- Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring.

6. Process Controls & System Management

- Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and SOPs. Ensure compliance with Internal Financial Controls (ICFR).

- Work closely with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar financial systems.

- Drive process automation and efficiency improvements.

7. Stakeholder & Team Management

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Treasury, Risk, Compliance, and Operations.

- Engage with banks, NBFCs, HFCs, investors, and regulatory bodies.

- Guide and review work of junior finance team members.

Educational Qualification:

- CA / CMA / MBA / PGDM (Finance) from a reputed institute

- IIM or Tier-1 institute preferred Experience

- 10-12 years of post-qualification experience

- Mandatory experience in Bank / NBFC / Housing Finance Company Preferred

Experience:

- Exposure to structured finance, securitization, or capital market transactions

- Experience working with mortgage portfolios or housing finance products

- Understanding of RMBS, asset-backed securities, or loan portfolio analytics

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Financial Accounting & Reporting (Ind AS / Indian GAAP)

- Structured Finance & SecuritizationFinancial Modeling & Portfolio Analysis

- Regulatory Compliance & Audit Management MIS Reporting & Financial Planning

- Stakeholder Management ERP Systems (SAP preferred) & Advanced Excel

- Compensation CTC: Up to - 30 LPA (depending on experience and fitment)
