Role Overview:

We are seeking high-caliber Finance professionals to join the Private Equity Finance & Operations team for a world-class alternative asset manager. This role is central to the financial reporting and operations of private funds, ensuring legal entities are reported with precision under US GAAP and IFRS Investment Company Accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

For Manager (Team Handling):

- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of 2-3 fund accountants; oversee daily workflows and professional development.

- Operational Oversight: Review and approve NAV calculations, capital activity (calls/distributions), and complex economic allocations.

- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for investment teams, auditors, and tax advisors.

- Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to automate reporting and enhance internal control frameworks.

For Senior Analyst (Individual Contributor):

- Financial Reporting: Execute monthly/quarterly closing of books; prepare financial statements under US GAAP/IFRS.

- Fund Operations: Prepare capital call and distribution notices, and maintain investor reporting decks.

- Analytical Review: Compile and analyze operating metrics, including IRR and fund financial data.

- Audit Support: Support annual audit and tax processes, ensuring high-quality documentation.

Candidate Requirements:

- Technical Qualification: Must be a Chartered Accountant (CA).

- Domain Expertise: Minimum 70% of your career must be dedicated to Core Private Equity Fund Accounting.

- Accounting Standards: Deep understanding of US GAAP (Investment Company Accounting) and waterfall structures.

- Systems: Experience with PE accounting software (e.g., Investran) is a significant plus.

- Availability: Immediate Joiners or candidates with short notice periods are highly preferred.
