Manager - Sector Specialist - Industrials & Energy

Description: Hiring: Sector Specialist Industrials & Energy (I&E) | Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities.

Location: Trivandrum / Kochi.

About the Role:

- Join our GDS Client Services team to drive strategic initiatives and sector programs for the Industrials & Energy (I&E) domain, supporting clients and leaders across the MENA region.

- Youll combine research, insights, and program management to enable business growth, client engagement, and thought leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct sector research and market analysis for I&E (Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities).

- Develop insight-driven solutions to support business development and client initiatives.

- Manage sector programs, governance, and stakeholder coordination.

- Build and maintain a knowledge repository of sector materials and insights.

- Support account teams with research, reporting, and content development.

- Prepare dashboards and reports to track program performance.

Skills & Expertise:

- Strong understanding of I&E sector trends, market dynamics, and KPIs.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire).

- Excellent research, analytical, and storytelling skills.

- Strong executive presence and communication skills.

- Experience working in a global / virtual environment preferred.

Qualifications:

- MBA / Postgraduate (Engineering, Management, Mathematics, or Data Science background preferred).

- 8-12 years experience in strategy, management consulting, business analysis, or industry research, with at least 7 years in the I&E sector.

- Industry certifications are a plus.
