Manager - SAP MM (Support & Special Projects)

Qualification: Graduate (BCA, B.Tech, BE, B.Sc Computers) + Postgraduate; MCSE certified preferred.

Experience:

- 6-10 years SAP MM experience (S/4 HANA mandatory).

- 1-2 end-to-end SAP MM implementation projects (minimum).

- Strong domain knowledge in procurement; exposure to both ECC & S/4 HANA.

- Understanding of Special Procurement scenarios & GST impact in SAP MM.

- Added advantage: SAP WM / EWM module exposure.

Industry: Pharma Manufacturing Corporate IT.

Location: Mumbai.

Shift: General Shift.

Travel: Moderate, as per business needs (no reservations to travel).

Reporting To: Chief Manager IT / General Manager IT.

Key Stakeholders:

- Internal: Corporate Finance, Business Finance, SCM, Marketing, GBSS, Procurement, HR.

- External: Auditors, External Consultants.

Critical Qualities:

- SAP ECC or S/4 HANA (MM) certification preferred.

- Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

- Excellent SAP MM knowledge; proactive in enhancing user experience.

Role Purpose: Work with business users to understand requirements, identify system gaps, and design/implement SAP MM solutions to optimize procurement and inventory management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Configure and support SAP MM in ECC & S/4 HANA environments.

2. Integrate MM with FICO, SD, PP, QM, WM/EWM modules.

3. Ensure compliance with GST impact and procurement best practices.

4. Provide SAP support, enhancements, and technical expertise for cost-effective solutions.

5. Plan and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing.

6. Prepare end-user training documentation and conduct training sessions.

7. Stay updated with SAP MM trends and innovations.

8. Review MM module periodically to identify improvement areas.

9. Coordinate project management activities including planning, scheduling, documentation, and monitoring.
