Description: Sales Manager Retail & MT (Mumbai & Pune)
- This is a leadership position offering an excellent opportunity to driven individuals for further growth and recognition in the wine business in India with a leading importer of the country.
- We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Wine Sales Manager to lead and grow our retail and modern trade accounts in Mumbai and Pune.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for wine, exceptional sales acumen, and a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key accounts in the region.
- This role requires a blend of strategic planning, account management, and hands-on execution to ensure the growth of the wine portfolio in a competitive market.
- The Candidate is expected to have pre-existing relationships with the above mentioned sales channels in liquor and a penchant for sales.
- Previous experience selling wines in these markets is mandatory and wine knowledge is a huge advantage to the role.
- This is a management role and is completely KPM driven with direct reporting to the Founder, Ms. Kadambari Kapoor.
- One or two additional sales team members MAY report to this position depending on the candidates maturity and abilities.
- Gusto expects the candidate to design and discuss a tentative sales plan as part of the interview process to assess if we can work together and have realistic and mutually agreeable KPMs before making an offer to the candidate.

Who can apply?:
- At least 10+ years of experience in the liquor industry is a must.
- WSET Level 2 is an advantage!.
- Self-motivated and driven.
- Depending on the candidate's experience and commitment, salary will be negotiable and will include a variable portion for sales goals achieved.
- Must have significant experience in the liquor industry with relevant contacts in all major retail accounts and modern trade accounts in Mumbai.
- The person should have worked in similar position in earlier roles at other companies.
Skill(s) required: MS-Office, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Excel and English Proficiency (Spoken) and English Proficiency (Written).
Daily market visits + daily market reports are mandatory candidate must possess a bike/car for the same.
Company will provide phone and internet allowance but not the gadgets.
It is complusory to have a personal laptop.
