We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales Manager to lead commercial growth for our Renewable Energy & Clean Development (RECD) vertical. This role demands a seasoned sales professional with a strong understanding of industrial and institutional markets, capable of driving large-scale business development across both private and government sectors. The Sales Manager will act as a key business leader, responsible for market expansion, client engagement, and revenue growth in alignment with the company's sustainability-driven vision.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sales Leadership:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive business growth across industrial, infrastructure, and institutional sectors.
- Identify emerging market opportunities, customer segments, and partnership avenues for expanding RECD offerings.
- Formulate go-to-market strategies for new products, collaborating with Product, R&D, and Marketing teams to ensure impactful market positioning.
Business Development & Client Management:
- Drive acquisition and conversion of strategic clients, including government departments, EPC contractors, OEMs, and large enterprises.
-Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, and closure of high-value deals with a focus on profitability and long-term engagement.
- Build and maintain C-level relationships to ensure account retention, upselling, and cross-selling of solutions.
Operational Excellence & Execution:
- Manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools; provide accurate forecasting and sales analytics to leadership.
- Partner with operations and service delivery teams to ensure seamless implementation and client satisfaction.
- Represent the company at key industry events, exhibitions, and forums to enhance market visibility and thought leadership.
Market Intelligence & Growth Enablement:
- Monitor competitive landscape, policy trends, and sustainability frameworks (ESG, net-zero) to identify growth opportunities.
- Provide market feedback and insights to internal teams for continuous product innovation and portfolio alignment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related disciplines; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in cleantech, automotive, renewable energy, or industrial solutions sectors.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding revenue targets in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Strong understanding of public procurement, government sales cycles, and institutional contracting processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, sales analytics, and pipeline management tools.
