Role Overview
The Sales Manager - Non-Aero will own revenue realization within 12 months and build a strong, multi-year order book for precision components and machined sub-assemblies across industrial, general precision, energy, medical equipment, and adjacent sectors (excluding automotive). This is a hunter-farmer role with direct ownership of RFQ conversion, pricing, and account growth.
Key Objectives & Success Metrics
- 65-100 Cr revenue realization within 12 months.
- 500+ Cr high-quality, margin-positive order book extending beyond 12 months.
- Typical RFQ to PO conversion cycles of less than six months.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new global customers; own RFQs end-to-end from qualification to PO closure; expand accounts through repeat and platform business; maintain strict pricing and margin discipline; collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams; maintain a clean, realistic pipeline with accurate forecasting.
Candidate Profile:
- 8-15 years of experience in precision manufacturing sales; proven closure of - 3-15 Cr POs; strong exposure to global customers (US / Europe); hands-on RFQ qualification and pricing ownership; experience in EBITDA-disciplined organisations (>15%) strongly preferred.
Role Overview:
- The Sales Manager - Defence (Export) will deliver revenue realization within 12 months while building a large, multi-year global defence order book. The role balances short-cycle RFQ wins with long-cycle defence program pursuits across US, European, Israeli, and allied defence markets.
Key Objectives & Success Metrics
- ~- 35 Cr revenue realization within 12 months.
- 1,000-1,500 Cr global defence order book extending beyond 12 months.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with global defence OEMs and Tier-1s; own defence RFQs end-to-end; position Unimech early in defence programs; build long-cycle pipelines; ensure pricing, compliance, and contractual risk discipline; work closely with engineering, quality, compliance, and manufacturing teams.
Candidate Profile:
- 8-18 years of experience in defence or aerospace manufacturing sales
- Strong exposure to export defence markets
- Proven experience closing defence POs
- Solid understanding of precision machining and defence quality standards
- Experience in margin-disciplined organisations preferred.
