- We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to drive business growth in the Power and Energy sector.
- The role involves managing key accounts, developing new business opportunities, and strengthening relationships with government utilities, EPC contractors, and renewable energy companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities in the power transmission and distribution sector.
- Manage relationships with key clients such as PGCIL, RRVPNL, TANGEDCO, Adani Power, MAHAGENCO, and leading EPC contractors including L&T, TATA, KPTL, KEC, Godrej, Transrail, Monte Carlo, and Sterlite.
- Understand engineering and lighting drawings to communicate technical requirements effectively.
- Ensure consistent repeat business through strong client engagement and post-sales coordination.
- Oversee project execution by coordinating closely with internal teams and customers.
- Independently manage the complete sales cycle - from lead generation to order closure.
- Achieve assigned quarterly and annual revenue targets, ensuring profitability and market penetration.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales funnel and forecast reports for management review.
- Maintain client databases and update all activities through Sales CRM tools such as Zoho or HubSpot.
- Build relationships with renewable energy clients such as Azure Power, Hero Energies, Acme Power, Renew Power, etc.
- Travel across Delhi-NCR and other states to meet customers, attend site visits, and build market presence.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Master's or Bachelor's in any related field.
- Strong technical background with an understanding of engineering drawings, electrical systems, and project layouts.
- Proven experience in sales for power sector or EPC-driven projects.
- Proficiency in Sales CRM platforms (Zoho, HubSpot) for tracking leads and reporting.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales and revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to process improvement and execution.
- Ability to lead and motivate team members towards shared business goals
