Position: Sales Manager
Department: Sales & Marketing
Reporting To: Manager - Sales & Marketing / Head - Sales & Marketing
Location: Ambernath, Delhi & Chennai
Job Description:
- Generate sales enquiries through direct and indirect sources using various techniques.
- Develop, establish, and maintain positive business relationships with customers, auxiliary suppliers, and raw material suppliers.
- Conduct customer visits to generate enquiries and understand their requirements.
- Deliver presentations to potential customers on machine specifications and plastic materials.
- Plan and implement marketing strategies, including advertising campaigns, participation in technical forums, and exhibitions to expand the sales network.
- Prepare business plans, sales budgets, and sales targets based on market studies and customer visits.
- Provide business and product training to customers; understand their technical requirements.
- Prepare quotations, order confirmations, and ensure timely dispatches in coordination with Purchase, Stores, and Export departments of principals and suppliers.
- Analyze customer technical requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions; communicate with the technical team of principals.
- Maintain a database of potential customers.
- Willingness to travel frequently across India and abroad, and ability to work with people from diverse cultures.
Candidate Profile:
Qualification: B.E / B.Tech
Experience: 10-20 years in capital equipment sales, preferably in Injection Molding Machines, Plastic Molding Processing Equipment, or other heavy capital equipment.
Age: Below 40-45 years
Specific Skills / Competencies:
- Fluency in local languages.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ready to travel as per business requirements.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
