Role Overview:
As the Manager HR Business Partner (Sales), you will act as a strategic partner to the Sales leadership team, driving HR initiatives that directly impact business growth and performance. You will be responsible for aligning HR strategies with business objectives, providing guidance and support on all HR-related matters, and fostering a high-performance culture within the Sales organization.
This role involves close collaboration with Sales leaders, employees, and cross-functional HR teams to ensure effective talent management, performance management, and employee engagement. Your contributions will directly influence the success of the Sales function and overall business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Sales leadership to understand business priorities and develop HR strategies aligned with sales targets and organizational goals.
- Drive the implementation of talent management programs including succession planning, leadership development, and high-potential identification.
- Manage the performance management process including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning to enhance team productivity.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for Sales (White Collar roles) such as Territory Managers, Area Managers, and Regional roles, ensuring timely and quality hiring.
- Administer and support compensation & benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with company policies.
- Handle employee relations matters, providing guidance on conflict resolution and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and retention strategies across the sales workforce.
- Analyze HR metrics (attrition, performance, hiring trends) and provide actionable insights to business leaders.
- Ensure smooth execution of employee lifecycle processes and adherence to HR policies and governance.
Candidate Profile:
Education: Full-time MBA in HR (preferred) / Bachelors degree in HR or related field
Experience: 5+ years of experience in HRBP role with strong exposure to Sales HR
Age Bracket: 35 to 36 years
Required Skillset:
- Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
- Strong expertise in talent management, including succession planning, leadership development, and performance management
- Hands-on experience in Sales Hiring (White Collar roles)
- Good understanding of compensation & benefits practices
- Excellent recruitment and talent assessment skills
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing ability
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage employee relations issues and conflict resolution effectively
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret HR data and trends
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Preferred Background:
- Experience in FMCD / FMCG / Consumer Durables industry
- Exposure to managing geographically distributed sales teams
