Manager - Sales - General & Modern Trade


Expectations: From premier b-schools only


Role & responsibilities:

1. Manage and drive sales of Modern retail accounts.

2. Develop sales strategies to increase market penetration and drive hyper business growth through promoters.

3. Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for expansion and improvement.

- Plan and execute sales activities to achieve sales targets.

4. Collaborate with with hypermarket store stakeholders to ensure effective execution of plans.

5. Visit all hyper stores to maintain relationships with store personnel, manage display and account recon.

- Lead the team of Promoters to deliver success at the point of sale.

Preferred candidate profile:

1. Should have 2-5 years of experience of Modern trade in consumer durables / dealer network driven organizations.

2. Ability to inspire colleagues and training them, system / market knowledge, ability to handle dealers, analytical / leadership skills.

3. Self driven, Good analytical skills with a strong sense of commitment and ownership of responsibilities.

4. Ability to take initiative and work independently, as & when required. Must be above board in terms of financial & personal integrity.
