Company:FMCG Role:Sales manager Gujarat Location:Ahmedabad Exp:7 to 9 years CTC:35 to 38 lacs p.a Roles and responsibilities 1. Sales manager of Gujarat leads the sales team, the trade, and works with different distributors to deliver sustained competitive advantage. This position is responsible for leading sales force to develop the right strategic action plans that will help to achieve the Company's Objectives and Goals. 2. Formulating the general trade sales strategy & business plans, for the prescribed geography so as to drive ambitious growth plans in line with business strategy. 3. To handle the sales & distribution structure & develop the route-to-market 4. To take responsibility for identifying the ideal sales organization structure and manpower number and quality needed. Proactively recruits for all levels for his/her organization, post due approvals. 5. Deploy region business/sales plan into specific plan by distributor/supervisor. 6. Manage budgets and allocations; ensures no overspending occurs. 7. Design innovative trade marketing initiatives in consultation with the Trade Marketing Manager. 8. Consistently meet, often exceed expectations sales KPI's and volume by continuously delivering excellent execution in Sales Fundamentals and in trade programs implementation. 9. Provide training, coaching to sales team in order to help his/her team fulfil the task and to meet and exceed sales objectives and other company's expectations. 10. Proactively deploy & manage a Sales Force Automation system to track KPIs, identifying challenges & discovering opportunities for the sales team. 11. Build strong motivation and strong disciplinary for excellent execution and for wining spirit. 12. Track sales KPI- s, distributor reports; summarize monthly KPI assessments/ performance review for distributor and sales-force. 13. Cooperate with Distributor management in planning, implementing and sales organization. 14. Conduct weekly / monthly/ quarterly business review and business plan discussion. 15. Launching new products as per plan within allocated budgets/ resources 16. Managing the P&L for the entire channel, and also by account 17. Competitor mapping, either directly from the category or adjacent ones
