We are looking for a dynamic professional to join our Energy Automation business as a Sales Manager for the Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh region. Reporting to the Energy Automation India Sales Leader, this role will focus on driving business across key customer segments such as EPCs, end users, consultants, and contractors.

The role aims to achieve sales growth, order booking, and revenue targets across industries including Power & Grid, Transportation, Oil & Gas, MMM, and Data Centers.

Role Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of Digital Power Commercial team, contributing to the growth of Energy Automation solutions across multiple segments such as Power & Grid, Renewables, Oil & Gas, Commercial & Infrastructure, and Transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify, track, and develop project opportunities (both ongoing and upcoming) to strengthen the sales pipeline

- Collaborate closely with V1 Sales and cross-functional teams to improve conversion rates

- Ensure early engagement in projects, including specification (prescription), bid support, and customer discussions

- Work alongside segment teams (e.g., Power & Grid, Electro-intensive industries) to drive business growth

- Align with internal stakeholders such as engineering (system architects), marketing, and segment teams to execute regional growth strategies

- Own and deliver on sales targets, order booking, and key performance metrics for the region

- Expand business through partner ecosystem (EcoXpert), including onboarding, training, and development

- Partner with national sales teams to accelerate growth across Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and decision-makers

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a recognized institution

- 5-10 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, or Tendering within Energy Automation solutions

- Minimum 5 years of experience in a customer-facing role

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong understanding of Energy Automation solutions, including protocols like IEC 61850, Modbus, IEC 101/104, and network topologies such as RSTP, PRP, HSR

- Expertise in Protection Relays, RTUs, and Substation Automation Systems

- Familiarity with cybersecurity standards in industrial environments

- Knowledge of electro-intensive industries such as Power & Grid, MMM, and Oil & Gas

- Ability to influence consultants and end-users for solution specification

- Experience in defining go-to-market strategies (direct and partner-driven models like EcoXpert)

- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across internal and external teams

- Proven ability to build executive-level relationships and customer intimacy

- Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills

- Self-driven, resilient, and capable of managing long and complex sales cycles
