Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Sales Manager to lead and grow our Construction Equipment business in Madhya Pradesh.
The ideal candidate will have strong B2B sales expertise, in-depth knowledge of earthmoving and construction machinery, and proven experience in managing dealer networks and key accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth and achieve annual and quarterly sales targets for construction equipment in the assigned territory.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Manage and expand the dealer/distributor network across Madhya Pradesh.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, contractors, infrastructure companies, and government bodies.
- Identify new business opportunities in infrastructure, mining, road construction, and real estate segments.
- Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract closures.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
- Coordinate with service, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless order execution and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews for management.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong B2B sales experience in the construction equipment industry
- Sound knowledge of earthmoving equipment, heavy machinery, and related products
- Dealer and channel management expertise
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Strategic thinking with a target-driven mindset
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region
Preferred Background:
- Experience with brands dealing in construction equipment, heavy machinery, trucks, tractors, or mining equipment
- Exposure to government tenders and large infrastructure projects is a plus
