Position: Manager Sales & Marketing - Sealing Solutions (Leading MNC Manufacturing Co)
Role:
- This role is responsible for driving strategic growth for the Sealing Solutions Business Unit across the Energy (Upstream & Refinery), Industrial, and Aerospace markets
- Drive Organic growth from Key account gaining business share, new product sales, upselling and develop and execute growth strategies across Energy, Industrial, and Aerospace markets
- Engage proactively with OEMs, system integrators, and end users-including the customer's customer-to understand evolving needs, industry pain points, and innovation gaps
- Conduct detailed market research to identify emerging trends, unmet needs, and whitespace opportunities across Energy, Industrial, and Aerospace sectors
- Analyze competitive landscapes and technology roadmaps to anticipate shifts in customer demands.
- Drive new product launches thru strong collaboration with the NPD, Application Engineering & R&D
- Drive marketing-led lead generation through targeted campaigns, digital outreach, and participation in industry events. Collaborate with the global marketing and digital teams to implement tools and strategies that enhance visibility, generate qualified leads, and support the sales funnel
- Engage with R&D for major developments and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Customer Service)
- Lead and manage a diverse, cross-functional team including sales, application engineering, design, and business development professionals-many working in remote or hybrid setups
Requirements:
- BTech (Mech) with 11-15 yrs of experience
- The ideal candidate will have strong experience in sales and marketing of B2B industrial products-whether components, system solutions, or both-with in-depth knowledge of key segments such as Oil & Gas (valves, pumps, compressors, actuators), Nuclear, and Aerospace.
- Proven expertise in technical selling of sealing systems, gaskets, bearings, mechanical seals, high-performance plastics, and elastomer O-rings is essential.
- Good knowledge and experience in Market Analysis, Key account management & Channel Sales and New product launch
- The role also involves leading a diverse, geographically distributed team, and demands strong capability in new business development and building innovative business models to drive sustainable, profitable growth
- Knowledge and experience on working with a CRM Tool such as Salesforce is a plus.
- Data-Driven Decision Making using Excel & BI Tools
- Proposal & Contract Management
- Good stakeholder management skills
