Role Overview:
The Manager Sales will be responsible for driving capital raising initiatives and expanding the firm's distribution network for its Category III Alternative Investment Fund. This is a client-facing, revenue-generating role focused on building strategic partnerships and growing assets under management (AUM) across High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs), Ultra-High-Net-Worth Individuals (UHNIs), Family Offices, Institutional Investors, Independent Financial Advisors (IFAs), and Wealth Management partners.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Fundraising & Business Development:
- Drive AUM growth for Category III AIF strategies through proactive investor acquisition and relationship management.
- Identify, engage, and onboard HNI, UHNI, Family Office, and Institutional investors.
- Develop and execute regional business development strategies aligned with organizational growth objectives.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective investors and conversion opportunities.
- Achieve fundraising and revenue targets within assigned territories.
2. Relationship Management & Market Expansion:
- Act as the primary relationship manager for assigned investors and distribution partners.
- Maintain regular engagement through portfolio updates, performance reviews, and product communication.
- Gather market intelligence and investor feedback to support product enhancement and positioning.
- Represent the organization at investor meetings, industry conferences, networking forums, and partner events.
3. Partnership & Distribution Development:
- Build and strengthen strategic relationships with HNIs, UHNIs, Family Offices, IFAs, Wealth Management Firms, and Distribution Partners.
- Expand and manage a high-quality distribution network across key markets.
- Conduct product presentations, investment discussions, and due diligence meetings.
- Support partners with product knowledge, marketing collateral, and investor engagement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience:
Must-Have Competencies:
- Proven experience in sales, fundraising, or business development within Alternative Investments, PMS, Wealth Management, or AIFs.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to establish long-term, trust-based partnerships.
- Excellent commercial acumen with a clear understanding of revenue generation and business growth.
- Strong execution capability with a high level of ownership and accountability.
- Ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders effectively.
- Professional presence with high integrity, credibility, and maturity in client-facing interactions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in distributing Category III AIF products.
- MBA (Finance), CFA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience in institutional or Family Office capital raising.
- Exposure to quantitative, derivatives-based, or alternative investment strategies.
Key Success Metrics:
- Growth in Assets Under Management (AUM).

- Expansion of the distribution partner network.
- Acquisition and retention of HNI, UHNI, Family Office, and Institutional clients.
