Manager - Sales

Role Overview:
The Manager- Sales will be responsible for promoting and driving sales of Kirloskar brand Air Compressors and other industrial products within the assigned territory. The role requires a technically sound and customer-focused sales professional with experience in industrial product sales, preferably compressors, pumps, motors, or industrial machinery.
- The incumbent will manage customer relationships, generate new business opportunities, achieve sales targets, and ensure overall customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales of Kirloskar make Air Compressors in the assigned region.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through effective territory management.
- Handle the complete sales cycle - from presales engagement, order acquisition, execution coordination, to payment collection.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industrial customers and key decision-makers.
- Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calls, and referrals.
- Maintain good customer rapport and ensure repeat business.
- Conduct market analysis to identify potential customers, competitors, and emerging trends.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order execution and timely delivery.
- Prepare and present sales reports, order booking status, and payment follow-ups to management.
- Ensure compliance with company sales policies and credit control norms.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education: Master's or Bachelor's in any relate field.
Experience:
- 4 - 5 years of relevant experience in Industrial Product Sales, preferably in Air Compressors, Pumps, Motors, or Industrial Machinery.
- Strong customer network and market knowledge in the Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh industrial regions (Vizag preferred).
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong communication, presentation, and networking skills.
- Proven customer relationship management and presales coordination experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, Telugu, and Hindi.
- Proficient in market analysis and strategy execution.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of managing field activities independently.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- SAP or other ERP system knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Additional computer skills related to reporting and customer data management.
