
Responsibilities would include:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive Hazard Identification & Risk Assessments (HIRA) for all plant activities, machinery (e.g., packaging lines, mixers, boilers, refrigeration units), and processes
2. Oversee the efficient operation and compliance of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and Sewage Treatment Plant (STP), ensuring all parameters meet State Pollution Control Board (SPCB) norms
3. Manage the Occupational Health Centre (OHC), coordinate pre-employment and periodic medical check-ups, and monitor workplace health hazards (e.g., noise, dust, ergonomics).
4. Conduct periodic safety inspections of the head office, focusing on fire safety (extinguishers, hydrants, alarms), emergency exits, and electrical safety.
5. Enforce and audit critical safety programs like Lock-Out Tag Out (LOTO), Permit to Work (PTW) systems
Background Preferred:
1. Education: B.E. / B.Tech (Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental) OR B.Sc. (Chemistry/Physics)/Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety (or equivalent from a state recognized institute like RLI/CLI).
2. Experience: 5-8 years of dedicated SHE experience, with at least 3-4 years in a manufacturing environment.
3. Industry Preference: Food FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, or Beverage manufacturing is strongly preferred.
