Manager - Safety & ISO

Manager Safety & ISO:

The Manager Safety & ISO is responsible for implementing and maintaining workplace health, safety, and environmental (HSE) systems while ensuring compliance with ISO standards and statutory regulations. The role focuses on creating a safe work environment, driving continuous improvement, managing audits, and promoting a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities:

- Implement and maintain Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.

- Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and ISO standards.

- Manage ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 documentation and certification activities.

- Conduct internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of audit findings.

- Perform safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification.

- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and implement corrective actions.

- Coordinate with government authorities, auditors, and certification bodies.

- Prepare safety and ISO reports, MIS, and compliance records.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for safety and quality systems.

- Lead the Safety & ISO team and promote a proactive safety culture.

Education:

- B.E./B.Tech / Diploma in Engineering with a Diploma in Industrial Safety
