Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Marketing Manager to lead in-store marketing, customer acquisition, and brand activation for a fast-growing jewellery startup with large-format store operations. The ideal candidate must have prior experience within the jewellery industry and a strong understanding of retail customer behavior, store-level engagement strategies, and brand storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

- In-Store & On-Ground Marketing Execution

- Drive end-to-end in-store marketing initiatives across large-format jewellery stores.

- Plan and execute visual merchandising (VM), store branding, signage, and customer engagement activities.

- Coordinate with design, VM, and retail teams to ensure consistent brand representation across all stores.

- Support store openings, launches, and festive campaigns.

- Customer Acquisition & Engagement

- Build and implement customer acquisition strategies to increase walk-ins and conversions.

- Develop and track store-level CRM initiatives such as loyalty programs, event-based marketing, and customer retention activities.

- Analyze customer behavior and demographic patterns to refine campaign targeting.

- Campaign & Promotion Management

- Conceptualize and execute retail marketing campaigns aligned with brand objectives.

- Coordinate seasonal promotions, festival offers, influencer tie-ins, and community engagement events.

- Monitor campaign ROI, store-level metrics, and performance against KPIs.

- Collaboration with Retail, Sales & Product Teams

- Work closely with retail operations, sales teams, VM, and product/merchandising teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.

- Share periodic insights on footfall, conversion, store feedback, and customer sentiment.

- Ensure HQ marketing initiatives are implemented consistently across all stores.

- Market Insights & Competitor Analysis

- Conduct competitive benchmarking of retail marketing strategies used in the jewellery and lifestyle sectors.

- Identify new trends, formats, and customer engagement practices relevant to premium jewellery retail.

- Provide actionable insights for improving store-level marketing impact.

- Budget Management & Reporting

- Manage store-level marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective execution.

- Track KPIs such as footfall, conversion, campaign ROI, and customer acquisition cost (CAC).

- Prepare reports and presentations for leadership review.

Requirements

- Mandatory: Previous experience working with a jewellery brand in a retail/marketing leadership role.

- Strong experience in in-store / on-store retail marketing, preferably in large-format environments.

- Proven ability to drive customer acquisition, store footfall, and conversion-driven marketing programs.

- Understanding of VM guidelines, customer behavior, and retail buyer psychology.

- Excellent communication, coordination, and project execution skills.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic startup environment.

- Strong creative instincts with analytical thinking.

- Ability to manage multiple stores and multi-city campaigns simultaneously.
