Manager - Research & Development

Hiring for R&D Manager..!!

Job Description:

1) Define the R&D strategy for silicones and finishing products, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market trends.

2) Design product development route maps and execute it

3) Evaluate new raw materials, additives, and technologies that can enhance silicones and finishing product performance

4) Provide support to scale up from Lab to bulk production.

5) Study competitor products and develop or suggest from existing product range

6) Make Product literature and guide in making promotional literatures and swatches

7) Monitor and report on R&D performance, ensuring project timelines and milestones are met.

8) Work closely with Sales Team to identify market needs and customer requirements for silicones and finishing products.

9) Provide technical expertise to support customer-facing teams in presenting new products and technologies.

Qualifications:

- Should have knowledge of Silicone emulsification and finishing products for textiles

Education:

o Bachelor's OR Master's degree in Polymer Science, or Chemistry or related field.

o Specialization in silicone chemistry and Textile finishing is a plus.

Skills & Competencies:

o Expertise in silicone chemistry, polymer processing, and finishing applications.

o Good knowledge of the emulsification process

o Excellent problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking.

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
