Manager - Reporting & Governance - CA

Designation: Manager, Reporting & Governance (CA with 4-8 years of Post Qualification Experience)

Reports to: Sr. Manager and VP Finance

Location: Gurgaon

CTC - 26 LPA incl. 10% variable (100% payout on average over past 6 years)

Job Description

1. Support the governance lead manager in administering overall internal control framework followed in the organization.

2. Collaborate with various functions within the organisation to ensure compliance with internal controls and strengthen the overall control environment.

3. Drive resolution of control issues and mitigate risks by coordinating with cross functional teams across the organization.

4. Prepare and circulate timely dashboards to internal teams and senior management.

5. Support the organization in adopting to SOX environment.

6. Manage relationship with the external auditors & other third parties in relation to risk and controls.

7. Prepare and manage internal audit plans to test the compliance submission provided by owners of controls.

8. Manage all queries related to the tool used for collecting internal control compliance from owners of the control.

9. Support the governance lead manager in reverting to any adhoc query.

10. Support all the projects related to internal controls and governance.

11. Support local Finance Heads and Directors on training, guidance and establishing best practices.

12. Stay abreast with Internal and external developments in the risk and controls area to drive projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate requirements

1. Manager (4-8 years exp) in internal Controls or SOX in Big 4 or tech companies / reputed MNCs (Global exposure preferred)

2. Chartered Accountant with CISA / CIA (Preferred)

3. Experience in designing the Risk control matrix as per SOX and other SEC documentation requirement around policies & SOPs

4. A proven ability to manage multiple projects, work independently and often in ambiguous environments, and deliver under tight deadlines

5. A successful candidate must be able to think and act both strategically and tactically.

6. Understanding of the technology landscape is a plus

7. Good written and oral communication skills, and ability to manage multi-stakeholder relations.
