We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented R2R Manager to lead the Record-to-Report function within our FMCG organization. The role will be responsible for managing end-to-end financial reporting, general ledger operations, month-end closing, statutory compliance, and financial controls. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in FMCG environments with high transaction volumes and complex supply chain structures.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Closing:

- Manage and oversee the end-to-end R2R process.

- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.

- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.

- Review journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments.

- Maintain General Ledger integrity.

Compliance & Controls:

- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS / GAAP / Ind AS as applicable).

- Support statutory audits and internal audits.

- Strengthen internal financial controls and ensure SOP adherence.

- Ensure tax compliance (GST, VAT, TDS, etc., as applicable).

- Manage accounting for high-volume sales transactions.

- Handle inventory accounting, COGS, and distribution-related accounting.

- Support trade schemes, discounts, rebates, and promotional accounting.

- Monitor working capital, especially receivables and inventory.

Team Management:

- Lead and mentor R2R team members.

- Allocate responsibilities and monitor performance.

- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives.

Process Improvement & Systems:

- Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.

- Work closely with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Microsoft Dynamics).

- Ensure accurate financial data migration and system reconciliations.

Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Sales, and Procurement teams.

- Provide financial insights to business stakeholders.

- Support budgeting and forecasting processes.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance.

- CA / CPA / ACCA (Preferred).

- Minimum 4+ years of experience in R2R or General Ledger accounting within FMCG industry.

- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting.

- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
