Role: Manager - Quality ( Role 1: Quality P&F ; Role 2: Quality Proprietary ; Role 3: Quality E&E Material)

Job Location: Pune

Qualification: B.E/ B Tech with 70% / 7 CGPA or higher

Role: Cost finalization, purchase ordering and amendments for press and welded route parts (mig welded & spot welded)

Responsibilities:

Role 1: Materials- Press & Fabrication + Vendor Quality ( Mechanical/Automobile/Production Engineer) Frames, Swing arms, Silencers, CV Parts, Petrol Tanks & Small / Medium parts

New Models:

- Run at rate for parts in a timely manner , Review of NCs identified in each R@R, Confirmation of application of HDBPs in R@R

- Checking of DR documents

- Follow up of dimensional deviations & actions for regularization of tolerances after process establishment with R&D.

Running Models:

- IPO audits planning as per dedicated cheksheets for parts as per schedule

- Support to vendor in training & guidance for achieving & sustaining A Grades

- Monitoring & reduction of monthly QSR & IHR of vendors

- Actions on HD of good engineering & management practices with respect to QSR/IHR as support.

- Department data collection month-on-month & preparation of review presentations

- TPM implementation at Vendors - Guidance, Review, Training, Audits.

- Safety & legal compliance at Vendors

- BAVA subcluster activities - Planning, Organizing & Tracking

- Digitization of NPD & Existing Quality sustenance related processes

Role 2: Material Proprietary + Vendor Quality ( Mechanical/Automobile/Production Engineer)

Applicable parts : Clutch Assembly | Brake system | Fork | Shock Absorber | Cannister | Exhaust Catalyst | EGR Valve/ Oil Cooler | Flex Tubes | CNG Cylinder & Kits | Anti-roll bar

New Models :

- Run at rate for parts , NC/ Improvement points listing, confirmation of corrective actions - CTQ & Non CTQ.

- Checking of DR documents / Product test reports /Control Plans/ Inspection Agreements & PDIRs

- Follow up of dimensional deviations & actions for regularization of tolerances after process establishment with R&D.

Post productionization:

- IPO audits of recently developed parts.

- Monitoring & reduction of monthly QSR & IHR of vendors

- Confirmation of HD of PRBFM points

EFR/Warranty :

- Understand each EFR/spike in FFR

- Study root cause with vendor team & BAL CFT team.

- Identify the process robustness improvement points.

- Incorporate them into IPO Audits or Process audits to confirm sustenance.

Role 3: Material Electrical & Electronics + Vendor Quality ( Btech in Electrical / Electronics)

- New models Quality (RAR-Run at rate, DRBFM, PRBFM)

- Standardization / 20 Basic Quality systems

- Vendor audits/ reviews

- Ability to handle QSR/ EFR/Warranty /IHR issues/ cases & monitor the same

- Control of IPO Documents

- Identify improvement points in process and make process more robust

- Proficient in Electrical/ Electronic automotive vehicle system.

- Knowledge of vehicle powertrain and the interfaces arising out of electrification.

- Knowledge about automotive industry standards and regulations, applicable globally.

- Having thorough knowledge in Electronic parts, assemblies & its processes.

- Good understanding of all applicable standards/ regulations and their application

- Experience in quality systems of electronic components for automotive application -CDI, ECU, voltage Regulator, sensors, digital instrument clusters (speedometers)

- Process review & upgradation of the process.

- Bench marking with similar parts, VA/ VE PFMEA
