Manager - Quality Assurance - Manufacturing

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead our quality function in Pune.

The ideal candidate will have 610 years of experience in a similar role within a certified manufacturing environment, preferably in the aerospace or defence sector.

This individual must have excellent verbal and written English, strong managerial capabilities, and a passion for documentation, systems, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own, maintain, and improve QA documentation systems including procedures, WI, forms, and records.

- Drive internal audits, customer audits, and third-party audits, and manage resulting corrective/preventive actions.

- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to implement and monitor quality KPIs and corrective actions.

- Act as the companys representative in quality-related communication with global customers and partners.

- Train and mentor QA team members; build a culture of quality across all departments.

- Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives using tools like 8D, Fishbone, FMEA, etc.

- Manage non-conformities and implement containment, corrective, and preventive actions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- 610 years of experience in QA roles in AS9100D or ISO 9001:2015-certified manufacturing environments.

- Proven managerial experience in leading QA teams and cross-functional collaboration.

- Excellent written and verbal communication in English; comfortable drafting reports and handling customer correspondence.

- Strong documentation discipline you live and breathe structure, traceability, and clarity.

- Experience with ERP/PLM/QMS systems is an advantage.

- Certifications such as Lead Auditor AS9100.
