- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the procurement department, prioritizing cost reduction, quality compliance, and reliable supply chain performance in high-stakes projects.

- Negotiate and manage high-value contracts and long-term agreements with key domestic and international suppliers.

- Structural Steel (Angles, Channels, Beams, etc.

- Conduct continuous market analysis to monitor steel price volatility, identify new vendors, and implement strategies to mitigate material supply risks unique to the EPC cycle.

- Ensure all procured steel and structural materials strictly comply with project specifications, Indian/international quality standards (e.g., IS, ASTM), and required galvanization/coating requirements.

Vendor Management & Operational Efficiency:

- Identify, evaluate, and qualify new vendors for both steel supplies and solar components based on cost, quality, and reliability.

- Cultivate strong, ethical relationships with the existing vendor base to secure priority supply and competitive pricing.

- Collaborate closely with the Project Management, Engineering, and Sales teams to accurately forecast material requirements for B2B solar/EPC contracts and manage inventory efficiently.

- Oversee the processing of purchase orders (POs), requisitions, and necessary documentation, ensuring timely and compliant execution.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement, with significant exposure to the B2B/EPC and Solar/Renewable Energy sectors.

Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience in the sourcing and purchasing of steel and structural materials is mandatory.

Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related technical field.

Skills:

- Demonstrated strength in negotiation and large-scale contract management.

- Deep understanding of the logistics and supply chain dynamics within the EPC and Solar project lifecycle.

- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership abilities.

- Proficiency in modern procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
