Manager - Purchase - Pharmaceutical

Manage procurement of APIs from qualified domestic and international vendors, ensuring timely sourcing, cost control, and full regulatory compliance across the pharmaceutical supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

- Source APIs in alignment with production forecasts and regulatory standards

- Evaluate vendor capabilities, negotiate contracts, and build strategic partnerships

- Track market trends and price fluctuations for critical molecules

- Ensure material documentation aligns with FDA, WHO-GMP, and DCGI norms

- Coordinate with QA/QC and regulatory affairs for material verification

- Optimize inventory levels to avoid stockouts or overstocking

Qualifications & Skills:

- B.Pharm/B.Sc/BE with specialization in pharmaceutical supply chain

- 6+ years' experience in API purchasing or sourcing

- Strong vendor networking across China, India, Europe preferred

- Familiarity with SAP/ERP tools and international compliance frameworks
