Job Description
Title: PR Manager
Experience: 10 to 18 years
Location: Mumbai
Must-Have:
- 10+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or media strategy, preferably in SaaS, tech, or retail.
- Strong media relationships with key business, tech, and industry publications.
- Collaboration and management skills when working with an external agency
- Exceptional storytelling skillsability to craft compelling narratives from complex topics.
- Experience in securing media coverage, managing press releases, and handling crisis communications.
- Understanding of B2B SaaS, AI, automation, and retail-tech ecosystems.
Role And Responsibilities :
PR Strategy & Execution
- Develop and lead the global PR strategy for all product verticals, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Own the end-to-end media relations, press outreach, and storytelling efforts.
- Proactively pitch stories and secure coverage across top-tier publications, industry media, and digital platforms.
- Position leadership, products, and innovations as key voices in retail tech, AI, automation, and SaaS.
- Monitor commerce, AI, and SaaS trends to identify opportunities for thought leadership and media placements.
Media & Industry Relations
- Build and nurture relationships with journalists, editors, analysts, and influencers across tech, retail, SaaS, and AI domains.
- Develop a strong press network to ensure consistent and impactful media coverage.
- Manage media requests, interviews, and speaking opportunities for leadership team.
- Drive executive communications, including keynote speeches, panel discussions, and industry event participation.
Content & Thought Leadership
- Craft press releases, bylined articles, op-eds, and media statements that shape industry perception.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create impactful storytelling around product innovations, partnerships, and market trends.
- Work closely with the content and growth teams to align PR efforts with broader marketing strategies.
- Lead crisis communications and reputation management when necessary.
Corporate & Community Engagement
- Identify and leverage speaking opportunities, awards, and strategic partnerships to amplify brand visibility.
- Engage with online communities, industry forums, and professional networks to position as an industry leader.
- Support internal communications to keep employees informed and aligned with key brand messaging.
