Proposal Manager:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Proposal Manager to lead and manage the end-to-end proposal lifecycleincluding RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and competitive bidsfor global clients in the ITES domain.
This role requires excellent communication, client-facing, and strategic writing skills, along with a strong understanding of service delivery models and pricing in IT/ITES.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the full lifecycle of RFP, RFQ, RFI, and bidding processes for international clients across ITES verticals.
- Analyze client requirements, develop winning strategies, and craft persuasive proposal responses tailored to global standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, operations, delivery, finance, legal, and subject matter experts to build robust and compliant responses.
- Drive proposal planning and timelines; assign responsibilities, review inputs, and ensure timely submissions.
- Develop and maintain a repository of proposal templates, case studies, project references, and reusable content.
- Present pitch decks and proposals to international stakeholders, confidently representing solution capabilities and differentiators.
- Maintain thorough understanding of company offerings, business models, and pricing strategies to align proposals with business objectives.
- Track bid success rates, maintain dashboards, and continuously improve proposal quality based on feedback and win/loss analysis.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8-10 years of experience in proposal/bid management within ITES or IT industry.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale international RFPs/RFQs, preferably for US/UK/Europe clients.
- Excellent communication, writing, and storytelling skills with the ability to tailor messages for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong understanding of delivery models in BPO/ITES, pricing structures, and service-level agreements.
- Proficiency in tools like MS Office Suite, SharePoint, and any bid management or CRM tools.
- Experience in pitching to international clients, attending pre-bid meetings, and supporting sales in client discussions.
- Ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously with strong attention to detail and timelines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, IT, Communications, or related field.
- APMP Certification.
- Experience working with global delivery models
