The role is responsible for end-to-end project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and control for ongoing and upcoming projects. The objective is to manage time, cost, and scope without deviation, ensuring effective coordination across engineering, procurement, and construction functions. The position plays a critical part in achieving overall strategic and operational project objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all planning-related activities across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Develop baseline critical path schedules and progress measurement systems in collaboration with design consultants and EPC contractors.
- Prepare resource-loaded schedules to ensure productivity standards are accurately incorporated.
- Apply and promote schedule management best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
- Utilize MS Project / Primavera for comprehensive project planning and scheduling based on the Basic Engineering Package (BEP).
- Continuously monitor project status, analyze variances, and communicate key updates to stakeholders.
- Engage with users and internal teams from project initiation to fully understand requirements and ensure effective execution.
- Conduct project review meetings, identify issues, and develop appropriate countermeasures.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to convey project plans, schedules, and progress to stakeholders and teams.
- Support project teams in evaluating progress and identifying deviations from planned activities.
- Provide cost engineers with schedule-based insights to help improve forecasting accuracy.
- Document historical schedule data, best practices, and lessons learned for project closeout and future planning.
- Support the evaluation and selection of design consultants and construction contractors.
- Participate in planning and budgeting for new projects, including preparation of cost estimates and proposals.
- Oversee project purchase activities, expediting, and coordination with contractors, suppliers, consultants, design teams, and accounts.
- Ensure adherence to timelines and budgets by setting clear goals, monitoring progress, and implementing corrective actions.
- Manage project-related cash flows and support contract management activities.

- Strong problem-solving ability with the capability to meet deadlines and manage budgets effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to coordinate across diverse teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Good knowledge of plant equipment and construction-related machinery.
- Strong systems orientation and attention to detail.
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project and Primavera (Mandatory).
- Strong understanding of project planning techniques, resource scheduling, and critical path analysis.
