Manager - Production Planning & Control

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Production Planning & Control (PPC) Manager to oversee end-to-end production planning, demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and capacity planning for automotive manufacturing operations. The role will be responsible for ensuring seamless production schedules, material availability, and optimal resource utilization while meeting customer delivery commitments and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute production plans aligned with customer demand forecasts and business requirements.

- Lead demand forecasting, production scheduling, and capacity planning activities to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

- Manage Material Requirement Planning (MRP) processes to ensure timely procurement and material availability.

- Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize inventory carrying costs while maintaining service levels.

- Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, warehouse, logistics, and sales teams to ensure smooth production flow.

- Analyze production capacity, resource availability, and machine utilization to support efficient operations.

- Ensure adherence to delivery schedules and customer commitments through effective planning and execution.

- Identify production constraints and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions.

- Track and report key planning metrics, including inventory turnover, forecast accuracy, OTIF, and production adherence.

- Drive process improvements in planning, scheduling, and inventory management practices.

- Support new product launches and production ramp-up activities through effective planning and coordination.

- Lead and develop the PPC team while establishing best practices in production planning and control.
