Description:
- Production Planning and Scheduling: Manage day-to-day operations, including prepress, printing,
bindery, and packaging, to ensure notebooks are produced on schedule.
- Operational Excellence: Implement process improvements to reduce wastage (e.g., paper/ink) and
increase efficiency, particularly in high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Quality Control: Enforce strict quality standards for printing alignment, bindery quality, and paper stock to meet customer specifications.
- Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate production staff, operators, and maintenance teams.
- Inventory & Supplier Management: Oversee the purchasing and inventory management of raw materials (paper, ink, glue) and manage supplier relationships.
- Plant Maintenance: Ensure machinery (offset/digital presses, cutting machines, binding machines)
operates efficiently through scheduled maintenance.
- Cost Control & Budgeting: Manage operational costs, reduce overhead, and ensure the business meets
its financial targets.
- Collaboration: Work with other departments, such as marketing and product development, to align
strategies and optimize sales efforts.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure the factory adheres to safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment
