Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, safety, and timely delivery.

The role requires strong leadership, operational excellence, and expertise in production planning, process optimization, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Management:

- Oversee day-to-day production activities ensuring adherence to quality standards, design specifications, cost targets, and delivery timelines.

- Contribute to the development and execution of annual budgets and operational strategies.

- Optimize utilization of materials, manpower, and equipment to achieve production targets.

- Monitor production costs, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.

- Drive lean manufacturing practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

- Identify and implement productivity improvements for cost-effective operations.

Production Planning & Scheduling:

- Review and manage production and shipment schedules.

- Monitor planned material consumption and control inventory levels (buyouts and consumables).

- Identify production bottlenecks and risks; develop mitigation strategies.

- Collaborate with Sales/PMD teams to align production priorities.

- Lead re-prioritization and plan revisions when required.

- Ensure compliance with customer, statutory, and regulatory requirements.

- Define workflows, work procedures, and schedules to enhance efficiency.

Process Improvement & Quality Management:

- Ensure compliance with ISO 9000 and other quality standards.

- Monitor quality reports and initiate actions to reduce cost of quality.

- Lead continuous improvement initiatives in coordination with QA and PM teams.

- Conduct process analysis to improve cycle time, reduce costs, and enhance material utilization.

- Identify key processes and guide teams in process mapping and optimization.

- Implement defect prevention strategies using lean tools such as Kaizen.

- Establish KPIs and systems to track and improve process performance.

- Stay updated with industry trends and recommend innovative solutions.

HR & HSE Management:

- Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures.

- Ensure optimal utilization of workforce and maintain staffing levels.

- Mentor and train team members; identify and address skill gaps.

- Define KPIs and support team members in achieving targets.

- Conduct regular performance reviews and team meetings.

- Drive employee engagement, motivation, and performance management.

- Promote workplace safety through inspections, training, and awareness initiatives.

- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety regulations and labor laws.

Candidate Requirements:

- Vietnamese national, aged between 3545 years.

- Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Technical Engineering.

- Minimum 7 years of experience in production within an FDI manufacturing company.

- Strong knowledge of steel fabrication, welding, painting, and shipping processes.

- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.

- Excellent English communication skills.

- Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills.

Work Location:

Factory-based role at Amata Industrial Zone, Long Binh Ward, Dong Nai Province, Vietnam
