Purpose of the Role:

- To enable smooth flow in operations using Lean Six Sigma methodology.


- Identify bottlenecks, constraints, and improve capacity utilization.

- Production Delivery Improvements

- Capacity enhancement through cycle time improvements

- AMU, FLL, yield loss & productivity analysis and improvement

- Identify gaps in accounting & ensure 100% compliance to SAP vs. physical accounting

- Compliance to statutory requirements, finance norms, SAP, IATF & ISO 14001 standards

- Lean Six Sigma & Process Improvements

- Develop Lean culture through Way of Lean manufacturing

- Conduct workshops (RIW, VSM) to reduce BCT & variation in process

- Conduct on-job training & on-job evaluation to improve individual efficiency

- Develop metrics for process capability in production & improve consistency

- Identify & implement opportunities for process automation

- Drive reduction in overall cost of manufacturing per litre of paint

- Develop models for Visual Factory & improve visual management on the shop floor

- Drive 5S as a cultural practice across the organization

- Lead and drive Kaizen initiatives

- Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)

- Drive EHS on the shop floor in line with EHSMS standards

- Improve waste intensity through reduction of hazardous & non-hazardous waste

People Management:

- Lead core team on NOC for LTS with the working union

- Actively engage with people at all levels & drive employee engagement in the production function

- Develop skill matrix for teams

- Enable effectiveness & efficiency through Lean Six Sigma approach

- Apply objective problem-solving using Six Sigma tools
