Manager - Production - Gems & Jewellery Business

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Production Manager to oversee manufacturing operations and drive production efficiency. The ideal candidate should have a Mechanical Engineering background, experience managing large-scale manufacturing processes, and the ability to lead teams while consistently achieving production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee day-to-day production and manufacturing operations.

- Ensure production targets are achieved while maintaining quality and operational efficiency.

- Plan, monitor, and optimize production processes to improve productivity and resource utilization.

- Lead and supervise production teams, ensuring adherence to operational standards and best practices.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production flow and timely delivery.

- Monitor manufacturing performance and implement process improvements where required.

- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational guidelines.

- Support capacity planning and production scheduling activities.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.

- Take ownership of production challenges and implement effective solutions to meet business objectives.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech Mechanical).

- Experience handling large-scale manufacturing processes.

- Basic understanding of Jewellery Manufacturing.

- Strong knowledge of production operations, manufacturing processes, and plant management.

- Ability to manage production targets and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

- Proactive approach with a willingness to take on new challenges.
