The Production Manager The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process within the organization, ensuring that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and meets the quality standards. This role involves managing resources, coordinating with various departments, and implementing strategies to optimize production processes. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement production schedules to meet business goals and customer demand. - Ensure adherence to quality standards and implement quality management systems (QMS). - Optimize production processes through lean manufacturing techniques and continuous improvement initiatives. - Manage and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials. - Oversee inventory management and ensure efficient use of resources. - Lead and mentor the production team to achieve operational excellence. - Coordinate with other departments such as procurement, sales, and logistics to ensure resources - Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving measures. - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the production area. - Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies. Qualifications Essential: - Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field. - 5-10 years of experience in production management within the manufacturing industry. - Proficiency in lean manufacturing techniques and production planning. - Strong understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and process
