
Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Manager for our Production Engineering division, specifically overseeing the Weld and Paint Shop operations at our Neemrana-Bhiwadi facility. In this capacity, you will serve as the technical backbone of our manufacturing unit, ensuring that production lines operate at peak efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of automotive quality. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, quality assurance, and supply chain, to streamline workflows and resolve complex technical bottlenecks. Your leadership will directly influence our plant's output capacity, cost-efficiency, and overall product excellence, playing a pivotal role in maintaining our competitive edge in the Delhi NCR automotive landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and optimize Weld and Paint shop processes to ensure seamless production flow and adherence to stringent automotive manufacturing standards.
- Drive process excellence initiatives by identifying and eliminating waste, thereby improving cycle times and reducing operational costs.
- Mentor and manage a team of engineers and technicians to foster a culture of safety, precision, and continuous improvement across the shop floor.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to implement new product launches and engineering changes without disrupting ongoing plant operations.
- Analyze production data and performance metrics to proactively address technical challenges and ensure consistent quality output for our customers.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex Weld and Paint shop operations within a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale engineering operations, with a focus on process excellence and lean manufacturing methodologies.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive consensus in a fast-paced plant environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, specifically in diagnosing and rectifying technical issues that impact production uptime.
- A degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering, complemented by 9 - 12 years of hands-on experience in plant operations.
- High adaptability to an on-site work environment, with a commitment to maintaining a physical presence at the Neemrana-Bhiwadi plant to drive operational excellence.
