Product: Suji, Rawa, Organic Pulses, Vermicelli, Millets, Ready to Cook Chapati, Frozen Breads etc.
Educational qualifications: Masters in Food Science/ Food Technology/Food Processing/Cereal Science/Chemistry
Key responsibilities:
- Possess calibre to own the entire product development cycle independently.
- Capability to frame the experimental designs during the development process.
- Co-ordinate with team members as well as cross functional divisions in prototype developments.
- Formulate recipes and define process and specifications in reference to the Food standards.
- Knowledge on nutritional profile, packaging structure and shelf-life of the products.
- Assist in conducting lab scale trials and during scale up operations in own or in third party units.
- Setting up of quality tools, specifications, critical control parameters, cooking standards & sensorial attributes.
- Monitoring all the technical aspects of the product development cycle and undertaking initiatives to develop innovative and superior formulations.
- Skill set on MS-Excel, project management tools and statistical software will be preferable.
Skills:
- Research and Knowledge developmental skills
- Proficient knowledge of grains, ingredients and statutory food laws.
- Technical knowledge on handling instruments and analytical methods.
- Being innovative.
- Self-driven and ability to work independently.
