Manager - Product Category - Kitchen/Home Appliances

Required Skills & Competencies:

- Strong Category Management experience in Kitchen - Home Appliances.

- Strong understanding of product assortment, pricing, promotions and merchandising.

- Proven experience in category growth and P&L management.

- Strong analytical and commercial skills.

- Excellent understanding of consumer behaviour and market trends.

- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

- Good understanding of inventory and demand planning.

- Strong cross-functional coordination abilities.

- Proficiency in MS Office.

- Certification in Category Management will be an added advantage.

- Strong leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute category strategies to drive sales, growth and profitability.

- Manage product assortment, selection, pricing and promotions across channels.

- Own category P&L, revenue and gross-margin targets.

- Analyse consumer behaviour, market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

- Manage demand forecasting, inventory planning and product availability.

- Lead merchandising, catalogue and category presentation activities.

- Identify category gaps and recommend new products and range expansion.

- Drive marketing, visibility and promotional plans for the category.

- Coordinate with Buying, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial and Merchandising teams.

- Monitor inbound planning, discounts, sales performance and category KPIs.

- Lead category management projects and mentor/supervise merchandising operations.
