Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for agricultural inputs, including fertilizers, seeds, crop protection products, mechanization services, inventory management, and logistics.
- Drive category management, supplier segmentation, and sourcing plans aligned with organizational objectives.
- Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP cycles, supplier qualification, competitive bidding, negotiations, and contract management to secure the best commercial and service outcomes.
- Oversee QA/QC processes to ensure products and services meet required specifications and compliance standards.
- Manage supplier performance through KPIs, dashboards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to legal, ethical, regulatory, and corporate procurement standards.
- Implement and oversee digital procurement tools and analytics platforms for spend visibility and performance tracking.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams-operations, finance, agronomy, legal, and compliance-to ensure aligned sourcing decisions.
- Optimize inventory levels, logistics operations, and downstream distribution to partners and customers.
- Lead supply chain risk assessment, mitigation planning, and preventive measures.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Agriculture, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 5-7 years of procurement and supply chain experience, with at least 3+ years in agriculture or agribusiness.
- Experience working with international or multinational environments.
- Strong understanding of category management, strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier performance governance.
- Hands-on experience with ERP and e-procurement tools such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, or Oracle.
- Proficiency in procurement analytics and data-driven decision-making.
- Knowledge of QA/QC and regulatory compliance within agricultural supply chains.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
