About the Role:

We are seeking a highly driven Procurement Manager to oversee the sourcing and acquisition of premium-quality materials, fixtures, fittings, and services for our luxury prefab and designer home projects.

This role is crucial in maintaining a seamless supply chain to ensure timely project delivery while upholding our high standards of design, quality, and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance, Travel & Vendor Vetting


- Conduct mandatory supplier pre-inspections and vendor qualification visits as required.


- Ensure thorough quality control, compliance, and supply chain integrity.


- Travel as needed for vendor audits, material assessment, and factory visits.

2. Purchase Order & Procurement Operations


- Convert purchase requisitions into Purchase Orders (POs) using the ERP/procurement system.


- Track and follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery.


- Assist in resolving discrepancies related to quantities, specifications, or deliveries.

3. Supplier & Vendor Management


- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers for premium, sustainable, or custom-designed materials.


- Maintain strong communication with existing vendors for order confirmations, disputes, and performance tracking.


- Maintain a structured and updated vendor database.

4. Cost Control & Documentation


- Request, review, and analyze quotations for cost benchmarking and negotiations.


- Maintain accurate documentation including delivery notes, invoices, POs, and payment records.


- Coordinate closely with the Finance team to ensure timely supplier payments.

5. Project Coordination & Inventory Support


- Work with Design, Project Management, and Logistics teams to understand material specs and timelines.


- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of critical materials.


- Proactively identify and escalate risks around shortages, delays, or price fluctuations to senior management.

6. Administrative & Reporting Support


- Prepare periodic procurement reports, analytics, and dashboards.


- Support the development and improvement of procurement policies, SOPs, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education:


- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical preferred) - Mandatory.


- Master's in supply chain is added advantage.


Experience:


- Total experience of 5 to 8 years.


- 23 years of proven experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or related administrative roles.


- Experience in Construction, Builders, Interior Design, or Real Estate industries is preferred.

Core Competencies:


- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and documentation skills.


- Effective verbal and written communication skills.


- Proactive mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


- Knowledge of materials, fixtures, and fittings used in luxury interior or construction projects.


- Basic understanding of negotiation principles and contract terms.


- A strong eye for quality and value aligned with luxury design standards
