Key Roles and Responsibilities:

- Origination and successful execution of private equity or M&A transactions in focus sectors.

- Develop and manage institutional relationships with potential clients and investors/financial institutions.

- Mentor junior team members to enhance delivery and leadership capability.

- Generate new business ideas, ventures, and service offerings that contribute to revenue growth.

- Seek cross-selling opportunities with other business units.

- Write thought leadership pieces for publication and present at conferences.

- Develop sector theses and credentials in one or two key sectors such as Agri, Consumer, Renewable Energy, Healthcare, and Financial Services.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

- 6-15 years of proven experience in raising private equity and/or executing M&A transactions.

- Transaction experience across Private Equity and/or M&A.

- Strong business development skills with relationships across domestic and international investors.

- Experience managing teams and engaging with senior stakeholders.

- MBA (Finance) or CA / CFA / CPA with a minimum of 8 years post-qualification experience.

- Strong understanding of financial markets and investment banking practices.

- Ability to plan, execute, and deliver projects in a timely manner.

- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.

- Entrepreneurial mindset, strong judgment, and decision-making ability.

- Excellent verbal, written communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

- Minimum 6-15 years of experience in Investment Banking.

- Hands-on experience preparing transaction collaterals: Teasers, Pitch Books, Information Memoranda, Financial Models, etc.

- Strong understanding of valuation techniques including DCF, Precedent Transaction Multiples, and Public Market Multiples.

- Experience in closed private equity transactions preferred.

- Knowledge of relevant regulations (FDI, SEBI, RBI, etc.), term sheets, and shareholder agreements.

- MBA from a top business school or equivalent.

- Deal experience in sectors such as Healthcare, Agri, Financial Services, and Renewable Energy.
