Pre-Sales Manager: Collaboration & New-Age Solutions
Role Overview:
The Pre-Sales Manager - Collaboration & New-Age Solutions will drive solution consulting, technical design, and sales support for digital collaboration, AV, and experience-driven environments. The role requires expertise in cloud collaboration solutions, auditoriums, museums, and experience centers, enabling customers to transform their communication, engagement, and immersive experience capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Consulting & Design
- Architect end-to-end cloud collaboration and digital experience solutions covering Unified Communications, AV integration, and immersive environments.
- Design and propose solutions for auditoriums, command centers, museums, and experience centers integrating AV and digital display technologies.
- Prepare solution blueprints, BOMs, and technical documentation aligned with customer needs and budgets.
2. Sales Enablement & Technical Support
- Collaborate with sales teams to qualify opportunities, respond to RFPs/RFIs, and position the right solutions.
- Deliver technical presentations, proposals, and ROI-based solution narratives to CXOs and decision-makers.
- Assist in pricing, technical validation, and commercial estimation for collaboration and AV projects.
3. OEM & Partner Collaboration
- Work with OEMs and strategic partners (Microsoft MTR, Cisco Webex, Zoom, Logitech, Neat, HP Poly, Crestron, Extron, Samsung, LG, etc.) to deliver comprehensive, innovative solutions.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies such as AI-driven collaboration, hybrid workplace enablement, AR/VR experience zones, and interactive digital displays.
- Conduct enablement and training sessions for internal and partner sales teams.
4. Governance & Delivery Handover
- Ensure seamless transition of awarded projects to the delivery team with accurate design documentation and implementation plans.
- Participate in client reviews and post-sales discussions as required.
- Track and report opportunity success rates, proposal quality, and win/loss analysis for continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Abilities
- 8-14 years of experience in Pre-Sales / Solution Consulting for Collaboration, AV, and Digital Experience domains.
- Proven expertise in selling and designing cloud collaboration solutions, auditoriums, museums, experience centers, and command centers.
- Strong skills in creating Bill of Material, writing Scope Documents, preparing High-Level Design documents, and technical solution writing.
Qualifications & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / IT / Electronics; MBA preferred.
- Professional certifications such as AVIXA CTS, Microsoft Teams Voice Engineer, Cisco Collaboration, or Zoom Technical Expert are highly desirable.
