Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Power BI and Reporting Visualization Astt. Manager to lead our data visualization and reporting efforts. This role is critical in transforming raw data into meaningful insights through compelling visualizations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Power BI, data analytics, and team management, and will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of reporting solutions that drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Leadership and Management:

- Lead and mentor a team of BI developers and data analysts.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.

- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.

- Power BI Development:

- Design, develop, and deploy advanced Power BI reports and dashboards.

- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability in all visualizations.

- Implement best practices for Power BI report design, data modeling, and performance optimization.

- Data Strategy and Governance:

- Develop and enforce data governance standards and practices.

- Collaborate with data engineers and database administrators to ensure data integrity.

- Drive the adoption of data visualization standards and practices across the organization.

- Stakeholder Engagement:

- Work closely with business units to understand their reporting needs and translate them into technical requirements.

- Present insights and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.

- Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI and data visualization tools.

- Continuous Improvement:

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in data visualization and BI tools.

- Identify opportunities to enhance reporting capabilities and streamline processes.

- Conduct regular reviews and audits of existing reports to ensure they meet business needs.

Qualifications:

- Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.

- Proven experience managing and leading a team of BI developers or data analysts.

- Technical Skills:

- Expert-level proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.

- Strong understanding of database technologies (e.g., Google BigQuery) and ETL processes.

- Familiarity with Excel and other BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) is a plus.

- Soft Skills:

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
