Manager - Plant Operations - Manufacturing Firm

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Plant Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations in a high-performance automotive environment. This role requires strong leadership, operational excellence, and the ability to drive efficiency, quality, and safety across plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead overall plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, and logistics.

- Drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

- Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.

- Manage production planning, capacity utilization, and resource allocation.

- Monitor KPIs and drive performance against business targets.

- Lead and develop plant teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain, engineering, and quality.

- Ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 10-15 years of experience in manufacturing/plant operations, preferably in the automotive sector.

- Strong knowledge of production processes, plant management, and industrial engineering.

- Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Experience in handling large teams and complex operations.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Engineering degree (Mechanical/Automobile/Industrial preferred).

- Experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar).

- Exposure to Industry 4.0 and digital manufacturing practices.
