Manager - Plant Finance - CA

Role Purpose:

Oversee timely preparation of accurate and fully compliant financial accounts, cost and management accounts and MIS reports, liaise with statutory and cost auditors, tax planning and rationalisation while complying with all applicable laws (mainly GST, direct taxes and Companies Act as relates to accounts, audit and other relevant sections).

Qualification: CA - 1st attempt

Experience: 7 to 12 years

Role description:

- Comply with Income Tax Act and GST Act and provide advisory support for all group companies.

- Maintain reliable and timely publication of periodic accounts and results.

- Maintain reliable costing and timely MIS for Board, top management and businesses.

- Support overseas group companies for accounting and tax issues.

- Implement standard accounting package and practices in all group companies.

- Maintain reliability of accounting systems for reliable data for all group companies.

- Prepare, review and ensure adherence to department policies and SOPs.

- Provide strategic support for evaluation of all acquisition and business restructuring proposals.

- Perform the role of people manager.

Additional points:

- Look for someone with plant finance experience.

Key competencies:

- Very good hands-on experience and expertise in costing and plant finance and accounting.

- Exposure to ERP - preferably Oracle or SAP and BI tools - preferably Tableau.

- Financial planning and analysis.

- Finance business partnering.

- Leadership and team management experience.
