Position Title : Manager Planning & Operations

Qualification : BE/B. Tech- Mechanical / Metallurgy / Industrial / Production Engineering

Experience: 5-10 Years

Job Purpose:

To provide strategic, analytical, and operational support to the Plant Head in driving organizational performance and operational excellence. The role acts as a key enabler to streamline decision making, strengthen execution, improve processes, and coordinate cross functional initiatives. This position operates as the Plant Heads strategic partner to ensure alignment between business goals and operational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Planning & Strategy:

- Support in preparation, review, and monitoring of daily, monthly, annual and periodic production plans.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs, validate data, and generate consolidated strategic reports.

- Assist the Plant Head in Board-level presentations, performance reviews, and business dashboards.

Technical & Operational Support:

- Analyse plant operational KPIs (production, yield, efficiency, quality, cost).

- Identify bottlenecks, process deviations, and improvement opportunities in collaboration with Operations, SCM, and Quality teams.

Data Analysis & Insights:

- Perform detailed technical and financial analysis to support decision-making.

- Prepare MIS, reports, dashboards, and performance analytics for periodic reviews.

- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities based on production data, cost analysis, and market inputs.

Key Interactions:

- Operations, Maintenance, Planning, SCM, Procurement, IT, Safety, Admin.

- External vendors, consultants, visitors.
