Key Responsibilities:
- Define and own the Google Ads strategy (Search, Display, YouTube, Video) aligned with business goals.
- Manage end-to-end campaign setup, optimization, and scaling: keyword research, audience targeting, bidding, and budget management.
- Partner with creative/content teams to develop ad copy, creative assets, and landing pages; run A/B and multivariate experiments to boost conversion rates.
- Implement and maintain tracking & attribution systems (Google Analytics, pixels, conversion APIs, etc.) ensuring data accuracy.
- Monitor and report performance across key metrics: CPL, CPA, ROAS, CTR, Quality Score, LTV, CAC.
- Identify and resolve funnel bottlenecks using a data-driven, hypothesis-testing approach.
- Forecast, allocate, and reallocate budgets across campaigns/channels based on performance.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, Google Ads updates, policies, automation tools and adopt best practices.
- Mentor/guide junior marketers or cross-functional peers where required.
- Collaborate with growth, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless alignment from traffic acquisition to retention.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:
- 5-8+ years of hands-on performance marketing experience, with deep expertise in Google Ads (Search, Display, Video/YouTube).
- Strong grasp of acquisition and retention metrics: ROAS, CPA, LTV, CAC.
- Proven track record of budget management, forecasting, and scaling campaigns.
- Proficiency with analytics tools and tracking systems.
- Experience running A/B testing and conversion rate optimization.
- Excellent data analysis and insight generation skills.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
- Up-to-date with Google Ads policies and best practices.
Good to Have:
- Experience in EdTech, consumer internet, or subscription businesses.
- Exposure to automation tools, bidding scripts, and programmatic/retargeting campaigns.
- Experience managing campaigns across international markets (US, UK, GCC, ANZ).
- Familiarity with other paid channels beyond Google Ads (Meta, affiliates, YouTube outside Google).
