Position: Operations & Accounts Manager (For Armed Forces Veterans) [Start-up]
Location: Vikhroli West, Mumbai (close to Hiranandani, Powai)

As they expand manufacturing and operations footprint, they are seeking disciplined, dependable, and proactive individuals to join the core team.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a retired Military professional (typically aged 32-39) who brings strong discipline, ownership, and organizational skills to manage factory operations and accounts. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines people management, operational efficiency, and financial oversight. While prior experience in manufacturing or accounts is helpful, it is not mandatory - the right mindset, willingness to learn, and a strong sense of responsibility are far more important.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
- Oversee day-to-day functioning of a small stitching and fabrication unit.
- Supervise a team of tailors, supervisors, and support staff to ensure smooth workflow.
- Coordinate with vendors for fabric procurement, ordering, and dispatch.
- Manage material inwards/outwards, inventory records, and logistics follow-ups.
- Ensure quality checks at every stage of production and adherence to timelines.
- Support production planning and execution to meet delivery commitments.
Accounts & Administration:
- Manage day-to-day company accounts in coordination with the internal accounts team.
- Track expenses, vendor payments, petty cash, and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare and update basic Excel reports and summaries as per management requirements.
- Coordinate with external accountants/auditors for reconciliations and filings.
- Ensure timely payments and maintain clear communication with suppliers and partners.
Who We're Looking For:
- Background: Retired officers from the Defence Forces.
- Age Group: 32-39 years preferred.
Skills & Traits:
- Strong sense of discipline, punctuality, and commitment.
- Basic familiarity with Excel and willingness to learn new systems.
- Good communication and team management skills.
- A practical problem-solver with high ownership of outcomes.
- Integrity and reliability in handling operational and financial responsibilities.
